The holidays often take a tremendous toll on our physical well being.  We tend to take a "holiday" from exercise (until those short-lived New Year's resolutions kick in).  With no shortage of starchy, fatty and sweet foods to select from, we often overindulge.  And add the stress of shopping, crowds, finances, parties and out-of-town family--and we can find ourselves less than jolly.  With all this added to our usual hectic schedule, it any wonder that our overall well-being tends to suffer during the holidays?

To learn how to combat these seasonal stress-sappers, improve your health and even save money during this joyous time of year, join us on Thursday, December 6th at 6:15 p.m. for our FREE Workshop on how to "Bring Sanity to the Season!"  At this informative workshop, Dr. Paul Stoetzel, D.C., of Stoetzel's Planet Chiropractic, 1243 S. State St., in Lemont, will teach you how to:

.  Increase your energy;
.  Reduce stress and master your schedule;
.  Prevent colds, flu and disease;
.  Lower your cholesterol and blood pressure; and
.  Save money.

Call 630.257.8700 today to reserve your seat at this FREE Workshop on holiday stress reduction sponsored by Maximized Living and Stoetzel's Planet Chiropractic.  Everyone who attends will be entered into our free Holiday Stress Buster Raffle!  To learn more, visit:  www.stoetzelchiro.com or call: 630-257-8700.

Was there ever a time when a full day was offered Jennifer? I was in kindergarten at Oakwood aboutRead More 28 years ago and even then it was half day. If you want full day Kate, St Pats/St Al's, St Cyril's, and I'm sure others are full day.

Let's get real. It is NOT a half day. It is 2.5 hours. By the time kids into class, sing a song,Read More have a snack and pee, they are done for the day. Sorry. Calling a spade a spade on this one.

Is this question really from a teacher? Full-day kindergarTen has a lot of fillers too: they eatRead More lunch, go outside, go to the bathroom, etc. I don't think our public schools allow snacks in the classroom anyway. Any teacher would know that learning starts at home, and a teacher would know how to supplement a kindergarten curriculum.
