AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY SURVIVORS WELCOME

If you were diagnosed with cancer today or ten years ago, you are a survivor. Cancer survivors are at the heart of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. Their strength and courage inspire the community to fight for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community.  We encourage all area cancer survivors, their families, caregivers and friends to join us on Friday, July 12th at 6 p.m. for the Relay For Life of Lemont and Homer Glen Opening Ceremonies where we celebrate survivors.   After the ceremony, survivors and caregivers are welcome to come to the Survivor Reception.

Relay For Life brings the community together to celebrate survivors and there caregivers, remember loved ones and raise the money needed to fund the life-saving efforts to fight back against a disease that takes too much.  Together, we are saving lives faster and creating a world with more birthdays.

The public is welcome to be a part of Relay For Life of Lemont and Homer Glen, an overnight, family-focused event, on Friday, July 12th at 6 p.m. at 131st and Bell Road in Lemont.  It's a night filled with entertainment, activities and games, the Luminaria Ceremony, and more.
