Monday, Aug. 6

The Lemont Police Department hosted the sixth annual event Saturday at Centennial Park.

The free community event will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Lemont High School, and will feature "Punt, Pass and Kick" activities, awards and medals.

The new hair salon and day spa will open later this year in the Riley's Pointe shopping plaza, 12371 Derby Road.

The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Front Street Cantina in downtown Lemont.
