Weekend To Do List: Concert for Military Families, Charity Garage Sale, Youth All-Star Games

Five things to do around Lemont, June 24-26.

The , 15780 New Ave., is hosting a concert fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. Friday to benefit the military families in 53 locations near hospitals where injured soldiers are being treated. The cost of admission is $5. For more information, call 630-257-9859.

A garage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday to honor Dawn Gargano, in December 2009. The sale will be held at 122 Cass St. at the home of Gargano's daughter, Jill Risatti. All proceeds will go to the Melanoma Research Foundation.

The , 50 E. Wend St., is hosting a masquerade ball from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Music will be provided by DJ Danny Banas, a recent graduate of Lemont High School. A prize will be given to the best dressed. For more information, call 630-257-6541 or visit www.lemontlibrary.org.

5. Youth All-Star Games

The Lemont Baseball and Softball Club is holding its all-star games from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday. The game will be played at Centennial Park, 16028. W. 127th St., and will feature kids ages 7 to 10.
