Volunteers Needed for Hope and Friendship Tag Days

The foundation will be collecting donations at Jewel-Osco and Chipain's on Friday and Saturday.

A Lemont organization is seeking volunteers for a local fundraising effort this weekend.

The Hope and Friendship Foundation will hold its "Tag Days" event—its only fundraising effort—on both Friday and Saturday at three Lemont locations: Jewel-Osco, 1202 State St; and Chipain's Fresh Market, 1100 State St.; and State and 127th streets.

Volunteers are needed to collect donations during two-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
