Lemont Public Works has been on the scene near 127th Street and Marion Drive since early Monday morning.
The reported a water main break near 127th Street and Marion Drive on Monday morning.
Lemont Public Works notified residents of the incident around 7:45 a.m. No traffic issues were reported.
The village is reminding residents to follow summer watering restrictions, and not water between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
