A "garage sale" will be held Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the , 14911 E. 127th St. Clothes, toys, household items and books will be sold to raise money for the center's daily operations. For more information, visit www.lithuanianworldcenter.org.

Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter in Homer Glen will have it's first Christmas Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday to raise money to help defray the rising cost of helping animals in need. The sale will take place at 422 Hillview Court in Lemont.
