The weekly continues today in the Talcott Square parking lot. The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for more information, including a complete list of vendors.
4. Family Science Night
The Lemont Park District is hosting a Family Science Night at , 16028 W. 127th St., on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature hands-on activities for children and parents, a science fair, and guest speakers from Argonne National Laboratory and Fermilab. 5. E-Books and E-Readers Explained
The , 50 E. Wend St., is hosting an information session at 7 p.m. Tuesday for those interested in learning more about e-books and e-readers. Library Director Sandra Pointon and Reference Librarian Matt Wenslauskis will discuss the Overdrive system, as well as the iPad, Nook and Amazon Kindle.
