2. Oakwood Curriculum Night

, 1130 Kim Place, is hosting a Curriculum Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday for parents interested in learning about their child's daily experience at school. Second-grade teachers will make presentations from 6 p.m to 6:30 p.m., while first-grade teachers will present from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Special teachers will be available from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

3. BMW Championship Tickets

4. District 113A Educational Foundation Wine Tasting

The District 113A Educational Foundation is hosting a back-to-school wine tasting event for adults to raise money for academic grants. "Summer's Over ... Wine a Little" will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at , 11250 Archer Ave. The event will include select wines and bottled beer, appetizers, a live DJ and a bean bag tournament.
