Mexican Food

1. El Burrito Jr., 1110 State St. 

The restaurant offers homemade Mexican cuisine, where everything is made fresh daily. Menu items include tacos, burritos, nachos, tostadas, sopes, breakfast items, dinner platters, and many vegetarian options and dinner platters.

2. H & H Restaurant, 116 Stephen St.

The downtown Lemont restaurant offers both American and traditional Mexican cuisine, such as enchiladas, chicken dishes, and salsas.

3. Front Street Cantina, 319 Front St.

The authentic Mexican eatery features an extensive menu and signature margaritas. Popular menu items include both traditional and contemporary dishes such as classic nachos, 13-inch burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and enchiladas.

4. 3 Corners Grill & Tap, 12371 Derby Road 

Mexican fare includes quesadillas filled with Wisconsin cheddar and jack cheese and served with sour cream and house salsa, and Baja shrimp tacos drizzled with chipotle aioli and served on fresh flour tortillas with a side of roasted red pepper rice pilaf.

5. Stonehouse Pub, 103 Stephen St.

Stop in for beef, chicken or chorizo tacos, or a taco pizza that comes with a side of hot sauce. Loaded nachos are served with taco beef, refried beans, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, sour cream and salsa. Start the meal off with a basket of tortilla chips with salsa or cheese.
