2. Farmers Market Continues
The weekly Lemont Farmers Market continues today in the Talcott Square parking lot. The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. CLICK HERE for more information, including a complete list of vendors.
3. District 113A Meeting Canceled
The Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A workshop meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday has been canceled. The board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.
4. Project Infinite Green Kickoff
A short kickoff event for the new education initiative will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lemont High School, 800 Porter St. The organization will give 15 Lemont students the opportunity to learn about green technologies and sustainable practices.

5. Lemont Rotary's Oktoberfest
The Rotary Club of Lemont-Homer Glen is hosting an "Oktoberfest" celebration from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at 1 Pete Dye Drive. The event is $15 and will include beer, appetizers, raffles, prizes and more. All proceeds will benefit the Rotary Youth Leadership Grants. Tickets are available at the Lemont Public Library, SBT Bank in Lemont, Kallemyn Collision and at the door.
