2. Mitten Drive

Lemont Girl Scout Troop 70259 is holding a mitten drive to benefit Lemont families in need and the "My Joyful Heart" organization in Mokena. The troop is collecting new mittens, gloves, hats and scarves. Donations can be dropped off at any of the following locations:

  • , 50 E. Wend St.
  • , 1100 State St.
  • , 16050 W. 127th St.

3. Patch Athlete of the Week

junior Courtney Toth, a member of the girls basketball team, is this week's nominee for Patch Athlete of the Week. Pocic is up against athletes from Naperville, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Hinsdale and Downers Grove. The winner will be featured Wednesday on the six participating Patch sites.

4. "Parent Connections" at The Learning Experience
