2. Lost Pit Bull

A pit bull was dropped off at the last week. The dog was found at Valley View Drive and Smith Road. The dog is currently being held at the Animal Welfare League, 10305 Southwest Highway in Chicago Ridge. If you are the owner or if you know the owner, contact the Animal Welfare League at 708-636-8586 or the Lemont Police Department at 630-257-2229.

3. Railroad Repairs at Holmes Street

The announced this week that Canadian National Railway will be making final repairs to the tracks at the Holmes Street railroad crossing on Tuesday, Nov. 8. The work is expected to take most of the day.

4. "Love of Art" Craft Show
