A Lemont Girl Scout troop recent purchased and planted three Dogwood trees for Lemont High School as part of their community service goals.

A representative from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency will hold a public meeting at the Lemont Township Community Center,, 16300 Alba St., at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The meeting is being held to inform the public on the EPA's recommendation that Lemont be designated a non-attainment zone for sulfur dioxide.
