If you need a cool down, you’ll be in luck Wednesday.

 is celebrating the launch of Slurpee Lite and kicking-off summer with SlurpFREE Day.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. patrons are invited to flavor their summer by visiting their local 7-Eleven store. According to the company's website, the closest locations to Lemont are:

The launch marks the first time in 45 years that 7-Eleven has expanded the Slurpee brand to include a sugar-free option on a national level. Flavored by Fanta, the new Slurpee Lite drinks are available exclusively at 7-Eleven stores and only contain 20 calories in 8 ounces – a sweet treat for those watching their waistlines.

3. Park District Golf Outing

The Lemont Park Foundation will hold its fourth annual golf outing Wednesday, May 23, to benefit  parks, programs and facilities. The event will be held at , 1 Pete Dye Drive, with a shotgun start at 2 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m.
