May 13: Patch Still Looking for Local Bloggers

On April 19, students at Everest Academy celebrated Pope's Day. Kindergarten students dressed as the pope and his security, with John Paul Lawler acting as pope for the day.
3. Babysitting Certification Program
The Lemont Junior Woman's Club is hosting a Safe Sitter Babysitting Certification Program for children ages 11 to 13. The two-day course will be taught by experts and trained volunteers. The program teaches the skills needed to safely care for children of all ages.

Two sessions will be held: Tuesday, June 14, and Friday, June 17, or Tuesday, Aug. 2, and Friday, Aug. 5. All classes will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lemont Safety Village, 55 Stephen St. The cost is $55 per student. See the attached form for more information.
4. Vehicle Stickers
Vehicle stickers are required for all vehicles registered in the village of Lemont. Stickers must be purchased by Aug. 1, 2011, and will expire July 21, 2013.
