2. Village Budget Available for Review

Beginning April 1, the village's proposed 2011-2012 budget will be available for public inspection at , 418 Main St. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For additional information, contact the Village Clerk's office at (630) 257-1590.

3. Demystifying Design

The , 50 E. Wend St. will host interior decorator Debi Ross, owner of Inside Looks by Debi Ross in Orland Park, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Ross will show you how good design can be affordable, accessible and attainable. This interactive program will also cover spatial planning, use of color and a hands-on room redesign. 4. Lemont Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

The is offering two $500 scholarships to high school seniors who intend to continue their education in college, vocational or technical schools. Students must live in Lemont Township, and must submit an essay with the following theme by April 15: "What kind of business would you start in Lemont? Why would you locate your business in the Village of Lemont, and how would this business benefit the community? Visit www.lemontchamber.com for more information.

5. Two More Days of Early Voting

Registered voters who wish to cast early ballots must do so by March 31. So far, the Lemont Public Library has seen more than 1,200 early voters for the upcoming consolidated election.
