1. March 14: A Day to Celebrate Pi(e)

It's the day mathematicians, pizza lovers, pie eaters and Peanuts fans wait all year for: it's Pi Day. Today (3/14), many celebrate the Greek letter π, also known as 3.14159…

2. Early Voting Begins

Early voting begins Monday at polling places throughout the state. In Lemont, early voters may cast their ballots at the Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St. , including polling locations and what to bring.

3. Tea Party Forum

The Lemont Tea Party will host Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba St. The forum will allow audience members to ask questions, and will be moderated by Dan Proft, WLS-AM radio personality and former candidate for governor.

4. Town Hall Meeting on Public Education

Mayor Brian Reaves and representatives from Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A and Lemont High School District 210 will co-host a forum on public education Wednesday night at the Lemont High School Performing Arts Center, 800 Porter St.
