Last Chance: Tickets to Fundraiser for Ellie Cuiching, $25 Patch Giveaway at 3 Corners

Cocktail Party Benefiting Ellie Cuiching

Deadline: Saturday, April 28

Description: Local charity "One for the Kids" is hosting its fourth annual cocktail party from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. This year, the event will benefit the family of Ellie Cuiching, an 8-year-old Lemont girl who was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor last year.

Tickets cost $90 per person or $160 per couple. To register, visit www.oneforthekids.org.

Bring Your Business Card to 3 Corners Grill and Tap for a Chance to Win a $25 Gift Certificate

Deadline: Monday, April 30

Description: Last month, Patch kicked off a new initiative that both promotes both our newsletter and supports local businesses. 

Each month, we'll have a green drop box stationed at a designated Lemont restaurant or shop. All patrons who leave their business card in the box will automatically be signed up for our newsletter and entered to win a $25 gift certificate for that business.

This month's partnership is with , 12371 Derby Road. The box will be on the front counter through April 30.

Again, all you have to do is drop off your business card. And if you have a friend who would enjoy Patch (and possibly a free meal), feel free to leave us their card, too.
