Franciscan Village is offering an Adult Day Services service for senior citizens. Through the program, professionals will look after seniors and provide fun social activities any day of the week for as long as four hours. For more information, visit www.franciscanvillagelemont.com

3. Lemont Library Summer Reading Kick-off

The Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St., will kick off its kids summer reading program, "Midsummer Knight's Read" on Tuesday with a number of outdoor activities. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., kids can enjoy stiltwalking and magic courtesy of John Measner. There will also be face painting, volleyball and more. At 6 p.m. a puppeteer will perform Rumplestiltskin.
