June 20: Book a Lemont Librarian, 'Swing into Summer' with Ruffled Feathers

Franciscan Village is hosting a gazebo concert series beginning June 19. If you are a senior citizen or family member of a senior citizen, and are interested in attending a concert,  call 630-243-3448.

3. Swing into Summer

, 1 Pete Dye Drive, is hosting "Swing Into Summer," a nine-hole scramble with on Tuesday. Registration is at 4 p.m. and shotgun start begins at 5 p.m. The cost is $40 per golfer or $30 for Ruffled Feathers pass holders. Tickets include the greens fee, a cart with a GPS, driving range time  and prizes.

After nine holes, golfers are invited to head over to 3 Corners, 12371 S. Derby Road, for appetizers and drinks. For more information, contact Lisa Lutz at 630-257-1000.

4. Book a Librarian

Beginning this month, Lemont residents will be able to use the new "Book-a-Librarian" program. In one-on-one meetings, reference librarians will be available to answer computer-related questions, such as how to type a resume, how to pay bills online and how to use an e-Reader.
