Members of the Lemont Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.), along with representatives from , will present information Monday, June 13, about S.A.L.T. and the services provided through the township, including Meals on Wheels. The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the St. Francis of Assisi Residence, 12218 S. Will-Cook Road in Palos Park.

3. Cook County Vehicle Stickers

Vehicle stickers for 2011 are now available at the Lemont Township office, 1115 Warner Ave.

If you live in, or own a business, and keep a vehicle in unincorporated Cook County, you are required to purchase a Cook County vehicle sticker. The stick must be displayed by July 1 to avoid penalty fees. Fore more information, call Lemont Township at 630-257-2522.

4. Teen Volunteer Program

Teens ages 12 to 17 are looking for community service hours this summer can volunteer to be a Teen Troubadour at the , 50 E. Wend St. Through the program, teens will help kids enter their reading club books, give out weekly prizes and help with story times. A meeting will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. for those interested. School may be out for the summer, but Patch will still feature Lemont's amazing kids all summer long. If you know an outstanding young student, athlete or volunteer, nominate them to be a .
