2. Village Board Meeting Canceled
The monthly committee of the whole meeting of the Lemont Village Board, which was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, has been canceled. The board will hold two meetings Monday, July 25—a regular business meeting at 7 p.m. with a workshop to follow.
3. Cooling Center
With heat indices every day this week, the Lemont Park District is reminding residents that the CORE Fitness and Aquatic Complex, 16050 W. 127th St. may be used as a cooling center. Hours are as follows:
- Monday-Friday: 5 a.m. - 10 p.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Sunday: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
