2. Lemont Loves the Arts Reception

A reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday for the village-wide program. The event will be held at the Lemont Center for the Arts, 1243 State St.

3. Preschool Open House

The Lemont Park District is hosting a preschool and early childhood open house from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Centennial Community Center, 16028 W. 127th St.. Parents are invited to attend the event to learn more about the park district's preschool program. For more information, call 630-257-6787.

4. CEDA Assistance at Lemont Township

On Thursday, the Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA) of Cook County will be at , 1115 Warner Ave., to discuss their Low Income Home Energy Assistance and Weatherization Program.

CEDA will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to meet with seniors (age 60 and up) and the disabled. To schedule a meeting, call Lemont Township at 630-257-2522.
