January is National Blood Donor Month, and the , 50 E. Wend St., is doing its part by hosting a community blood drive. Heartland Blood Center will have a mobile coach in the library parking lot from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

All donors will receive a coupon for $11 in Oberweis purchases. Registration is required. To register, visit www.lemontlibrary.org.

3. District 113A Special Meeting

The Board of Education will hold a special meeting Wednesday night to discuss the superintendent search process. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at , 16100 W. 127th St.
