Great Meals Under $25: Patch Picks

For this week, we're looking at cheap but good eats.

1. Slammers Pub & Grill, 1243 State St.

Weekend specials include a $9.95 prime rib dinner and $2 Coors Light pints on Saturdays, and a $9.95 steak dinner and $2 for a Slammers Bloody Mary on Sundays. Visit their website for more menu options.

2. Front Street Cantina, 319 Front St.

Try a combination plate with with a taco, tamale and enchilada for $11.25. The meal comes with rice and black beans. When accompanied by a meal, patrons receive one complimentary order of chips and salsa.

3. 3 Corners Grill & Tap, 12371 Derby Road 

Get a full slab of baby back ribs, served with southern slaw, house seasoned fries and a garlic buttered baguette for $17.95. A half slab is  $9.95 half slab. If you prefer seafood, the Ahi Tuna filet, served with asian slaw and steamed edamame, wasabi and pickled ginger is $14.95.

4. Jimbo's Pizza, 12267 Walker Road

Try the 16-inch Jimbo’s specialty, The Corleone, a thin crust sauceless pizza with sausage, garlic, pepperoncini and diced tomatoes with on olive oil base for $22.99. For crust-lovers, get a large 14-inch deep dish pizza for 18.99. Additional toppings are $1.75.

5. Kitaro Grill & Sushi Lounge, 1224 State St.

Get a Japanese seared steak for $23. The meal includes clear soup, salad, vegetable, udon and fried rice.
