Gas Guide: Prices Around Lemont, May 2

With gas prices rising over $4 in much of the Chicago area, we want to help our readers with a weekly roundup of the best deals around.

According to the AAA Fuel Price Finder, the average price of gas in the Lemont area is now $4.43 — a steep increase of 15 cents from last week, and 54 cents from last month.

The average cost to fuel a vehicle with a 15-gallon tank is $66.50 — up about $2.27 from last week, $8.08 from last month and almost $22 from six months ago.
