3. Village Committee of the Whole Meeting

The Village of Lemont will hold a committee of the whole meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Village Hall, 418 Main St. For more information, including the meeting agenda, visit www.lemont.il.us.

4. Lemont Junior Woman's Club Scholarship

The Lemont Junior Woman's Club is offering four $1,250 scholarships to Lemont residents "who have made outstanding contributions to the community through volunteerism."

Applicants must be residents of Lemont who are either high school seniors or adult women returning to school. According to a news release, the Woman's Club is looking for applicants with a strong history of community service and outstanding academic performance.

The application, which can be obtained at high school guidance offices, the Lemont Public Library, Lemont Township (1115 Warner Ave.) or at www.lemontjuniorwomansclub.org, must be submitted with two references and a 500-word essay by April 23.

5. Teen Movie Night at the Library

The Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St., is hosting a Teen Movie Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Teens are inviting to watch a screening of the movie Jane Eyre, starring Jamie Bell, Mia Wasikowska and Judi Dench. For more information, call 630-257-6541.
