The weekly  continues today in the Talcott Square parking lot. The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  for more information, including a complete list of vendors.

3. District 113A Special Meeting

The Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday to consider an amended version of the district's state financial plan. The meeting will be held in the , 16100 W. 127th St.

4. Keepataw Days Fun Run

The  is hosting a Keepataw Fun Run, sponsored by . The 2.08-mile run/walk will be held Monday, Sept. 5, at 9 a.m. in the I&M Canal Heritage Quarries. The cost to register is $20.

5. Historical Society Seeking Street Fair Vendors

The is seeking vendors for its annual street fair in front of the Old Stone Church, 306 Lemont St. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17. Featured activities include an antique market, craft vendors, a pumpkin wagon, bake sale, live music and roadshow appraisals.
