Over on the Lemont Patch Facebook page, we heard some buzz about camera crews at the , 16050 W. 127th St. We sent an email over to our friends at the and found out a commercial was being filmed for Weather Tech, which makes custom-fit floor mats and weather protection for vehicles. Filming was expected to be completed by noon.

3. Indoor Pool to Reopen

The indoor pool at the CORE Fitness and Aquatic Complex is expect to reopen Saturday. The pool has been closed since Aug. 15 for cleaning and maintenance. For more information, visit www.lemontparks.org.

4. Test Strategies for ACT

The Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St., is hosting a one-hour workshop Wednesday, Aug. 31, to prepare students for the ACT exam. From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., various question types will be reviewed and answered. Students will also receive scores from the practice test taken Aug. 20. Sign up is required.
