Twenty local junior high schools and high schools, including Lemont, will perform Saturday during the Plainfield Invitational Concert Band Festival. The event begins at 8:15 a.m. at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students.
3. Arbor Day Program at Lemont Park District
Join the Early Childhood Preschool Program for an Arbor Day celebration at noon Friday, April 29, at the , 16028 W. 127th St. The day's events may include tree planting and dedication, a butterfly aviary and a visit from Seamore the eagle, among other activities. 4. Tsunami Relief Fundraiser
The Lemont Lions Club is at 7 p.m. Friday to benefit tsunami relief efforts. The event will be held at , 206 Main St.

5. Wedding Cake Decorating at the Lemont Library
