Adorable cats and dogs needing forever homes. Please check out http://waifsandstraysrescue.org/ for a full list of all the animals available for adoption

These two little darlings can chase away any Fall and Winter blues.   They love to play with each other and watching them will keep you thoroughly entertained.   They love people too.  They cuddle and purr with all the volunteers.

Adoptions are done by appointment only. Please contact us at Waifsandstraysanimalrescue@comcast.net. Adoption fee covers spay, all immunizations, a microchip for identification, a negative Feline Leukemia and Feline HIV test and a free wellness exam with a veterinarian.

To see pictures of other animals up for adoptions check out http://waifsandstraysrescue.org/   or to meet some of our kitties at Thorton's All Pet Pantry located at 4910 Main St., Lisle.

Please check out previous posts on April, Panda and Misty. All are still waiting for their FOREVER HOME.

Waifs and Strays Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. We provide shelter, food, medical care, and love until their forever home is found through adoption.

Was there ever a time when a full day was offered Jennifer? I was in kindergarten at Oakwood aboutRead More 28 years ago and even then it was half day. If you want full day Kate, St Pats/St Al's, St Cyril's, and I'm sure others are full day.

Let's get real. It is NOT a half day. It is 2.5 hours. By the time kids into class, sing a song,Read More have a snack and pee, they are done for the day. Sorry. Calling a spade a spade on this one.

Is this question really from a teacher? Full-day kindergarTen has a lot of fillers too: they eatRead More lunch, go outside, go to the bathroom, etc. I don't think our public schools allow snacks in the classroom anyway. Any teacher would know that learning starts at home, and a teacher would know how to supplement a kindergarten curriculum.
