Waifs and Strays Animal Rescue-Meet Lucia, Panda and Rona

Waifs and Strays Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. We provide shelter, food, medical care, and love until their forever home is found through adoption.

Panda

Panda is a pretty kitten who is sweet and gentle and loves people. She would love to come and be your one and only pet.  You can visit and play with Panda by visiting our adoption center located inside the Hand 'N' Paw Grooming Salon, located next door to All Pet Pantry!

She is up to date on all vaccines.

About 9 months old
Domestic Short Hair
Female

Adoptions are done by appointment only. Please contact us at Waifsandstraysanimalrescue@comcast.net. Adoption fee covers her spay, all immunizations, a microchip for identification, a negative Feline Leukemia and Feline HIV test and a free wellness exam with a veterinarian.

RONA- 1 year old female

What a sweet little girl! She was surrendered by her family, and given to an animal control in Missouri. She completed their Puppies for Parole program. She is a very nice dog, but also VERY strong. So far we know she is good with kids. Bigger children would probably be best because she is so strong, she could easily knock small children down while romping around. So far, we have not done dog or cat testing with her. She needs an experience owner who is willing to work with teaching her.

Was there ever a time when a full day was offered Jennifer? I was in kindergarten at Oakwood aboutRead More 28 years ago and even then it was half day. If you want full day Kate, St Pats/St Al's, St Cyril's, and I'm sure others are full day.

Let's get real. It is NOT a half day. It is 2.5 hours. By the time kids into class, sing a song,Read More have a snack and pee, they are done for the day. Sorry. Calling a spade a spade on this one.

Is this question really from a teacher? Full-day kindergarTen has a lot of fillers too: they eatRead More lunch, go outside, go to the bathroom, etc. I don't think our public schools allow snacks in the classroom anyway. Any teacher would know that learning starts at home, and a teacher would know how to supplement a kindergarten curriculum.
