Ziplining with Tigi
Two middle-aged women decide to zipline. They may have appeared to be like Lucy and Ethel, but instead they found their primal strength and endurance to create a wonderful memory!
Who would have thought that six years ago when I moved into Lemont that my realtor (and neighbor), Tigi, and I would be ziplining in the trees with our children?
I mean, really? Ziplining? I have never even heard of it before, let alone did I know that I would be wildly swinging through some jungle (OK, it was in Lake Geneva...), dangling, rocking and zipping from tree to tree. Who would have thought that our 9, 10-and 11-year-old children would be doing it too?
I mean, seriously? I don't know, maybe it was better that I didn't know what it was. Or perhaps when they told us we would need to jump off of some extremely large apparatus with only a wire holding us up, (okay and a buttocks harness, too) We would have quit right then and there. But no. Tigi and I gave birth to children. (We are women, hear us roar!)

Needless to say, another fun filled summer of growing food, gardening, walking and now adventure seeking with my friend Tigi has set a whole new level of expectations for the rest of the summer. Who'd have thought Remax would have sold me my house and my realtor, too. Good times. She is worth the commission!
