When and how did your business get started?

Sweetwater Deli came to Lemont in October 2010 with a vision to serve the Lemont community as a place to have a sandwich or dessert in a relaxing atmosphere. To make us unique our goal was to have our customers buy delicatessen items by the pound for home and pick up small essentials for a quick lunch or dinner, as well as, order from our menu.

Sweetwater Deli has been featured on Chicago's Best for our homemade Chicken Noodle soup and Chicken Salad. Each day we offer a sandwich special and our homemade soups and chili. We have added specialty Italian Cookies, Beer and Wine over the past three years. Sweetwater Deli is a family business working hard to grow and become an established business for years to come in the historic downtown area.

What is your business best known for?

Homemade soups, salads and relaxing atmosphere. The pretzel roll has been one of our biggest items customers enjoy.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

We love the architecture of the downtown buildings and the quaintness of the town.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

All of our homemade items are really made from scratch and we take a lot of pride in making sure each customer is happy with their purchase. We try to stop and talk with as many customers throughout the day to let them know we care.

Does your business offer a special deals card or program?

Not at this time; however, we are working towards getting this started in 2014.
