Patch Picks: Holiday Shopping in Lemont
Looking to get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping? There are several upcoming shopping events in Lemont to take advantage of.

1. Lemont Park District's Holiday Craft Show
At the show, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, attendees can find gifts created by some of the area's finest arts and crafts designers. The event is located at the , 16028 W. 127th St. For more information, contact the Park District at (630) 257-6787.
2. Christmas Choral Concert and Holiday Cookie Sale
Satisfy someone’s sweet tooth this holiday season with an assortment of holiday cookies. The Christmas Choral Concert and Holiday Cookie Sale will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4, at , 306 Lemont St. Children can also get their pictures taken with Santa from 3 to 4 p.m. For more information, call 630-257-2972 or visit the Lemont Historical Society’s website.

4. Christmas shopping at The CORE
More than 10 vendors will display their wares, including purses, candles, Tupperware, Lia Sophia, Pampered Chef, and more, during the shopping event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 16028 W. 127th St. For more info, call the at 630-257-6787.
4. Midnight Madness
Participating merchants will hold extended shopping hours from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, Dec. 9. There will also be arts and crafts vendors. For more information on Midnight Madness, contact Michelle Zaper at 630-514-6642.
5. Holiday Artists Bazaar
The Lemont Center for the Arts, 1243 State St., will host its second annual Holiday Artists Bazaar through Dec. 23. Shoppers will find a variety of unique gifts. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
