Nominate Your Favorite Dessert Spot in Lemont

We're relaunching our Readers' Choice contest, and we're looking for the best dessert spot in Lemont. Nominate your choices in the comments below!

When we were kids, it was a reward. Eat all your vegetables, and you can have dessert. One of the best parts of growing up is that you get to eat dessert whenever you want. You can have it first, if you want to. But where is the best place in Lemont to get a sweet treat?

Patch is relaunching its Readers' Choice program and we're asking you to nominate your picks for the best dessert spots in Lemont.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the best-loved spots are part of the poll.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

Sign up for the Lemont Patch Newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in our new Readers' Choice contest.

Was there ever a time when a full day was offered Jennifer? I was in kindergarten at Oakwood aboutRead More 28 years ago and even then it was half day. If you want full day Kate, St Pats/St Al's, St Cyril's, and I'm sure others are full day.

Let's get real. It is NOT a half day. It is 2.5 hours. By the time kids into class, sing a song,Read More have a snack and pee, they are done for the day. Sorry. Calling a spade a spade on this one.

Is this question really from a teacher? Full-day kindergarTen has a lot of fillers too: they eatRead More lunch, go outside, go to the bathroom, etc. I don't think our public schools allow snacks in the classroom anyway. Any teacher would know that learning starts at home, and a teacher would know how to supplement a kindergarten curriculum.
