Mayor, Chamber of Commerce Celebrate Grand Opening of Orange 13

The upscale restaurant and lounge hosted dozens of guests Monday night for a ribbon-cutting, champagne toast and hors d'oeuvres.

—Lemont's new, upscale restaurant and lounge—hosted about 100 guests for a swanky grand opening celebration Monday night.

Lemont Mayor Brian Reaves, village officials and the welcomed Orange 13 to town with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and champagne toast. The event also featured special hors d'oeuvres and live music by vocalist Diva Montell.

Orange 13, 14196 McCarthy Road, opened quietly Jan. 25, and business is now in full swing. The restaurant offers fusion cuisine and delicious cocktails from all over the world in a Las Vegas-inspired lounge environment.

In an , co-owner Christopher Dabek said he and his partners are hoping to provide a luxurious escape for the 21-and-over crowd.

"They’ll get an ultimate experience and a unique flavor for each individual," he said. "We provide an oasis for adults—a place to relax and unwind, and enjoy our immense wine list, as well as healthy cuisine."

Orange 13 is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Sundays 2 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Mondays 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., and closed on Tuesdays.
