How did the business come to be?

Handcrafted items have always been a part of our lives. When the economy caused us both to be faced with major career changes we started to explore the option of creating our own business. We were fortunate to know a number of other handcrafters and have come to know so many others who see our vision and are working with us to reach their dreams as well.

Why did you choose the area you did?

Who wouldn't want to be in Historic Downtown Lemont? We fell in love with the charm of the area, the building we are in, and both our business neighbors and the residents of Lemont. It was the best decision we have ever made!!

What does your business offer?

Our boutique offers extraordinary handcrafted items. Whether you are looking for that one-of-a-kind gift or a treat for yourself, Aurora Rose will have it! 

We also do classes for both children and adults!!

Our boutique is made up of more than 40 small, local businesses who provide the highest quality at amazing prices. Don't let the word boutique scare you, you can afford to shop here!!
