Lemont Residents More Likely To Go to Theme Parks than National Average

Lemont residents are more likely than average to visit a theme park once a year, according to a Crain's Chicago Business study

The national average for theme park visit frequency is 100. Lemont's 60439 zip code earned a score of 123. All of the surrounding communities—including Woodridge, Darien, Romeoville, Homer Glen and Lockport—earned an above average score.

The lowest scores in suburban Cook County were 82 in Robbins, 84 in Harvey and 86 in Hometown. One of the highest scores in the southwest suburbs was in Naperville, which scored a 154.

The majority of Chicago's zip codes were less likely than to visit a theme park once a year, according to the map.
