Lemont CORE Offers 'SilverSneakers' Program for Seniors

As part of the program, some health care plans cover CORE membership for adults age 65 and older.

The Lemont Park District's CORE Fitness and Aquatic Complex has been recognized as one of thousands of facilities approved to offer a special discount for eligible older adults.

The Healthways SilverSneakers Fitness program is a fun, energizing way to help keep active older adults healthy and independent. SilverSneakers members will have access to The CORE Fitness & Aquatic Complex. Designated health care plans for people age 65 and older will cover the cost of a fitness membership at the CORE. Find out more about SilverSneakers, and if you're eligible. 

The CORE houses over 100 pieces of the most innovative fitness equipment and free weights. The CORE also has an indoor heated pool, fitness classes, personal training, indoor track and open gym and swim.

Once active adults receive confirmation that they are eligible for the program and have a membership number, stop by The CORE Service Desk and register for programs.
