Lemont Participating in Multi-chamber Luncheon/Expo

A limited number of tickets are available for a multi-chamber expo/luncheon planned for Thursday, March 21, at Bobak’s Signature Events at Seven Bridges, 6440 Double Eagle Drive in Woodridge.

Members of 21 chambers of commerce, including the Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce, will host the event – which includes networking, a business expo and keynote speaker Chris Catalano, CEO of School of Rock. With 105 schools in four countries and well over 10,000 students, School of Rock is a prolific educator of young aspiring musicians.

Before Catalano took the reins at School of Rock, he served as CIO of McDonald’s Ventures, a portfolio of investments including Chipotle Mexican Grill, Boston Market, RedBox and Pret A Manger. Catalano also has his brand on GE Capital – TIP, managing more than $1 billion in transactions. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at GE Plastics, CLTL and American Tempering.

The March 21 business expo will open at 11 a.m., followed by the luncheon and keynote speaker at noon, after which the expo will reopen until 2 p.m.

According to JoAnna Kmiec, executive director of the Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce, the multi-chamber luncheon is a “do not miss event,” with every component of successful business acumen – networking, tremendous business insight and an opportunity to showcase your company and increase your business, find a credible vendor and connect with local businesses.

Besides Lemont, the 21 chambers participating in the multi-chamber event include Addison, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Bolingbrook, Carol Stream, Darien, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Greater O’Hare, Hinsdale, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville, Villa Park, Western DuPage, West Suburban, Westmont, Wheaton and Woodridge.
