When and how did your business get started?

State Farm, Caryn Tulk Agency was established in January of 1995.

What is your business best known for?

We are mostly known for insuring homes, autos and businesses, but do much more. Specifically, our office is known for exceptional customer service. Our friendly team Lisa Steck, Stephanie Kocourek and Aimee Sarvey are knowledgable, experienced and professional. 

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business? 

Lemont is like the towns I was raised in Oregon and Bloomington Illinois. Home-town neighborly environment with great schools, churches and families that care for each other.

I've lived and been a business partner with Lemont for over 12 years and seen the community grow but with more family orientated folks. I've had a real opportunity to get close to many of my neighbors through my board memberships at the Lemont Public Library and the Chamber of Commerce.  

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

The Caryn Tulk Agency has clients, not customers. We feel that at customer is someone who buys a newspaper from a store and may never return for another. A client is someone who allows us to create a meaningful and long term relationship to service their personal and business needs for a long time.

The great part about Lemont is many of our clients are friends or family members so this enhances all if our trust and relationships. I would say some of our clients might be surprised to know the Caryn Tulk Agency can finance their car, provide short or long term investment planning, and assist with life insurance needs. The Caryn Tulk Agency is "pet friendly". Stop by with your furry loved one anytime.
