All Pet Pantry Leaves State Street, Critter Cleaners Takes Over Space

The feed shop left Lemont earlier this month and is now operating online. Critter Cleaner owner Kim Walter plans to open a new store, "All Critter Feed," in its place.

, the feed store that recently opened on State Street with , has left Lemont after just one month in business.

Tom Thorton, owner of All Pet Pantry, told Patch last week that he and Critter Cleaners owner Kim Walter ended their business relationship the weekend of March 17. Walter also confirmed the news.

All Pet Pantry opened at 1120 State St. on Feb. 6, specializing in all-natural pet food products.

The feed store is now selling product online at www.allpetpantry.com, according to the All Pet Pantry Facebook page.

Although Thorton is now operating out of his Lisle home, he is offering free delivery to Lemont, as well as several other surrounding communities.

Walter said Tuesday that Critter Cleaners will continue to operate in its current location, 1120 State St. She also plans to open her own feed store called "All Critter Feed," which will carry many of the same products as All Pet Pantry.

She is currently in the process of ordering product and filing the necessary business documents with the village and state.
