will host a spa night Friday to raise money for "Celebrate Me Home," a benefit that will help purchase a new home for women with disabilities.
The salon, located at 108 Stephen St. in Lemont, will offer manicures, pedicures, makeup applications, paraffin treatments, chair massages and angel card readings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The evening will also include raffles, a silent auction and a $5 close-out sale on pants, shirts and children’s clothing from Belle de Jour…In Style.
Celebrate Me Home, which will take place Sept. 8 at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, was organized by the family of Lemont native Jamee Fiedler, a 21-year-old woman battling cerebral palsy, multiple physical disabilities and an intellectual disabilities.
The fundraiser will help purchase a new home for Jamee and other women through Garden Center Services, an agency that supports more than 150 adults with disabilities by providing group living environments, vocational day programs and employment opportunities.
