ATI Physical Therapy Opens New Clinic in Lemont

Lemont Native Don Rimbo was named clinic director of the new site, located next to Jewel-Osco at 1210-1212 State St.

ATI Physical Therapy opened a new clinic Monday just south of Jewel-Osco in Lemont's Centennial Plaza.

The clinic—located at 1210-1212 State St.— specializes in physical therapy, sports medicine, work conditioning and hardening, and women's health. The company boasts more than 160 locations in six states, including more than 70 in Illinois and a corporate office in Bolingbrook.

“Lemont is close to our roots where we founded the company and a welcomed extension of our market presence in the southwestern suburbs. We are excited to bring the ‘ATI Difference’ to Lemont,” said Dylan Bates, chief operating officer, ATI Physical Therapy.

Don Rimbo, a lifelong resident of Lemont, will serve as the clinic director of ATI Lemont. A graduate of Lemont High School, Rimbo continued his education by earning a bachelor's degree in consumer affairs and business administration, and a master’s in physical therapy.

Rimbo brings more than 10 years of professional experience in outpatient physical therapy—including serving as clinic director of ATI New Lenox—and more than 18 years experience in the fitness and health industry, according to a press release. He has extensive sports injury experience working directly with hundreds of local youth, high school and collegiate athletes, the release stated.

A spokesperson for ATI said the company "is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of patients and helping create healthier communities." In Lemont, ATI is already the premiere sponsor show of Centennial Pool at the .

ATI also established the ATI Foundation, a non-profit organization "benefiting children in need of resources and funding due to medical complications and physical impairments."

Chief Financial Officer John Egofske, a Lemont resident, announced the new clinic at a Lemont village board meeting in April.
