Lemont's annual Labor Day festival will run Friday through Monday in the historic downtown area.
Summer may be winding down, but there's still one last chance for some good, old-fashioned festival fun in downtown Lemont.
The 62nd annual Keepataw Days Festival will kick off Friday afternoon, and we have your complete guide to the weekend-long event.
As one of Keepataw Days' official sponsors, Patch will have a booth at the festival from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. Stop by to say hello to Local Editor Amanda Luevano and Ad Manager Tim Wall, who will be handing out tons of Patch goodies!

WhereThe festival will be located in downtown Lemont in the , on Canal Street and Bossert Drive.

Friday: 4 p.m. to midnight
Saturday: Noon to midnight
Sunday: Noon to midnight
Monday: Noon to 10 p.m.
Rides and games will be provided by Alpine, Inc. Kids can enjoy unlimited rides for $20 from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday through Monday. Unlimited rides are $15 during the Last Blast (Monday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.).
There will be free face painting every afternoon and a DJ on Saturday and Sunday night.
Bean Bag TournamentA bean bag tournament will run Saturday and Sunday. Registration and practice begin at 11:30 a.m., with competition beginning at 12:30 p.m. The tournament costs $40 per team and is single elimination.
First place wins $500, second place wins $250, third place wins $100 and fourth place wins $50.
Beer GardenBeer garden entry is $5 nightly. Guests must be 21 years or older to enter the beer garden after 6 p.m. There are no lawn chairs allowed after 6 p.m.
Alpine Amusements: Traditional carnival food, such as popcorn and corn dogs.

Little Jimmy's Italian Ice: Italian ice and nachos
Zacarelli's Pizza: Pizza, beef sandwiches and hot wings
Pancho's Mexican Foods: Burritos, quesadillas, tacos and corn on the cob

ParadeThe annual Keepataw Days Parade will start at 1 p.m. Monday in downtown Lemont. This year's theme is dedicated to the —"125 Years of Service: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow." Grand marshal for the parade is Lemont Fire Chief Carl Churulo, who will be joined by fire chiefs from years past.
