Photo Gallery: Lemont Center for the Arts Grand Opening

The village's Arts and Culture Commission celebrated Saturday the opening of the new Lemont Center for the Arts, located at 1243 State St.

The event kicked off with a ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. Throughout the afternoon, visitors were able to eat, drink and make their own artwork.

The new facility will feature works by local artists, and will be home to special exhibits and art classes.
