Lemont Farmers Market

The Lemont Farmers Market is off to a great start.  We have a great group of vendors with a wide variety of products.  And we've just added something new!  We will have live music every week.  The Underground Jazz Quintet has graciously offered to come out and play for us every week through the 21st of August.

The Underground Jazz Quintet is a group made up of Downers Grove South Alumni and current students. They have been playing together for the past 4 years.  This group has won various awards from the Purdue Jazz Festival and from the Illinois Music Educators Association as individual solists and as a group.  Members of this group appeared at the Essentially Ellington Festival in New York City and the Midwest Clinic in Chicago. The group will be performing every week at the Lemont Farmers Market until the 21st of August.

Come on down and support your local home town market!  It's a great place to be every Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Get fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and shop a wide variety of products that include items for a healthy home, healthy you!  Sit down, relax and enjoy the live music, too!
