Author to Discuss Adventures with the Rolling Stones

Stones' insider Bill German will share firsthand accounts of the 'world's greatest rock 'n' roll band' at the Lemont Public Library Wednesday night.

Author and Rolling Stones insider Bill German will discuss his ups and downs with "the world's greatest rock 'n' roll band" at a free presentation at the Lemont Public Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

German’s book, Under Their Thumb, chronicles how he befriended the Stones while he was just a teenager and was hired as the group's official historian for the next two decades.

He traveled the world with Mick, Keith and the boys - stayed at their homes, and witnessed their private jam sessions, decadent parties and vicious in-fights.
